-So who's been to velvetcode.com lately? Seen the new site? It's awesome isn't it?! I like it, I was thrown off a little at first but I love it. As always the links are on the side. I'll be putting up a link to Marlon's blog too since it's no longer "Velvetcode.com"
Talking about Velvet Code's new website, if you go there you can get a free download of "Black. Blue. Blind." and let me tell ya....IT FRIGGIN ROCKS! No seriously it does! I've known most the songs for awhile, but I haven't owned the songs...Now I own it, and have been harassing people at school to listen to them (no not really, only my friends and class mates. :D XDD) Hey if they like Jeffree Star then they'll like Velvet Code. Anywho, go get it...like NOW! And dance around your house...Like I was this morning to "It's Over" my mother thinks I'm insane...I could only wonder why.
WHO'S IN NEW YORK OR NEW JERSEY? Ya'll better be going to the show Thursday night!! At The Knitting Factory 7pm all ages. Say "VELVET CODE ROCKS" at the door and you'll get a card to download exclusive music that hasn't been released! I'm totally jealous of you if you go...Just saying. If I had money to randomly jump on a plane Thursday after classes I'd totally be there....and be back Friday morning before I have to be at ensemble. That takes money...something a college kid DOESN'T have. Oh well.
This is just a small personal update:
I know that some of you have been wondering where I've been and everything. WELL A- there hasn't been much news as of late. Sorry. B- I'm in college people, please remember this. I'm also having to practice my butt off because I'm a music major, and I JUST found out that the solo I was given will be opening our program. Yea...I just got the solo on Friday, fun. I'm also trying to prepare for my scholarship audition at the University I want to go to. And for those of you who are wondering NO it's not UT, MTSU, or anything in Memphis....I'd rather not relive high school thank you. I'm glad that some of you are keeping up with me on facebook and twitter, really I feel loved....But like a majority of you I don't live online....I'm in college to be able to teach others music...which is becoming a scarce thing in Tennessee. I love all of you and will update you on anything that I get either from VC themselves or that I see on their facebook or twitter, but I can't be on 24-7. Sorry, that's just a little thing from a few e-mails that I've received over the past few weeks.Stay Lovely!
